The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager will manage efforts to develop an excellent EHS program that spans a wide-ranging organization.Success in your role will work with people across all departments and across all levels of the company. This is an in-person, onsite position with a 25% travel requirement.Main Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in environmental science, physics, chemistry, biology, engineering discipline, or safety and occupational health</li><li>5 years of demonstrated experience in EHS with international exposure and 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or operations settings</li><li>Knowledge of Federal, State and Local safety and environmental laws and regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, FAA, and other applicable local requirements)</li><li>Previous experience working in a manufacturing line and R&amp;D efforts including work under chemical hoods</li><li>2+ Years of experience in a management position</li><li>Experience developing Management Systems based on ISO14001 and ISO45001</li><li>Create measurable metrics to demonstrate the successful implementation and maintenance of EHS programs</li><li>Manage hazardous materials handling and disposal and facilities waste management and environmental compliance</li><li>Experience leading incident investigations with management</li><li>Build and implement an environmental emissions monitoring program across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience growing an EHS organization in an early-stage company in a related field (battery recycling, fuel cell development, hydrogen fueling)</li><li>Own engineering design/execution/manufacturing project</li><li>Managed budgets and schedules</li><li>Has been responsible for and led design reviews on technical deliverables</li><li>Experience working in engineering design and the safety review of that design (PHA, HAZID, HAZOP)</li><li>Comfortable working in an environment with high expectations</li><li>Curiosity to understand new processes and increase depth of knowledge in areas without prior experience</li><li>Experience building relationships with local authorities and reporting agencies</li><li>Technical and practical proficiency of EHS issues across research and development, manufacturing, construction and field operations</li><li>Managed training programs including their strategy, content, and deployment by identifying new training needs and tracking company compliance with training standards</li></ul> #LI-OnsiteCompensation and Benefits l M3<div><div><div>Natick Zone</div><div>$150,000—$150,000 USD</div></div></div><div>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
