Job Position: Business Development Executive

 

Role and Duties

This position will be responsible for prospecting, building pipeline and opportunity management within an assigned territory in the fast-growing Electric Vehicle (EV) charging industry.  

 

  • Collaborate with the virtual sales team on account strategy, demand generation activities, and results
  • Build sales pipeline using social selling, and cold calling methodologies
  • Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in the CRM application
  • Coordinate sales efforts with both Direct and Indirect sales channels
  • Meet (or exceed) monthly targets in setting up qualified meetings
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of ChargeNet Stations products and technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, etc.
  • Drive high customer satisfaction and references by ensuring customer is receiving value from their Cloud services
  • Develop good customer relationships to identify and drive product expansion/up sell opportunities as well as service renewals

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise class lead generation (hunter sales roles) 
  • Able to demonstrate time management, basic tele sales skills, knowledge of EV charging products and services 
  • Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment
  • SaaS, digital marketing, and social media experience are pluses 
  • Experience with a CRM is desirable, HubSpot preferred 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Development, Business Administration or equivalent or proof of knowledge via certificates
  • Knowledge of power, energy, and electrical physics and markets
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Experience designing greenfield systems analytical tools like Helioscope, Energy Toolbase, Homer Grid, and proposal generation tools
  • Experience selling energy solutions or Point-of-Sale systems in the Quick Serve Restaurant market
  • Experience working in a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment
  • Start-up experience
