Your mission
  • You will develop a data framework (blueprint, database) for semi-automated battery disassembly and be responsible for creating a blueprint template that records all technical information on battery packs and the disassembly and discharge steps in a structured data structure.
  • You will ensure that your framework is capable of reading the developed blueprints and implementing and configuring the required skills.
  • You integrate methods for generating actions that are required for an automated human-machine disassembly and unloading station.
  • You ensure that all processes are supported by clear and functional data structures to enable efficient automation.
  • You work analytically and optimize existing processes through your technical developments and suggestions.
  • You document your results comprehensively and present them clearly and comprehensibly as part of your final thesis.
  • You will support our Dismantling & Discharging team in day-to-day business, collaborate with other teams and provide support at various interfaces.
Your profile
  • You are in the final stages of your technical master's degree, ideally in computer science or mechanical engineering, and would like to apply and develop your knowledge in practice.
  • You have sound programming skills, ideally in Python SQL, JavaScript or Structured Text/Ladder Logic and can use these specifically to develop the framework.
  • You already have knowledge of lithium-ion batteries and assembly or disassembly processes that will help you implement the project.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a quick mind.
  • You approach new challenges with enthusiasm, bring your own initiative and work independently and goal-oriented.
  • You enjoy developing technical concepts and working out practical solutions for automated processes.
  • You are characterized by a structured way of working and the ability to clearly document and communicate complex relationships.
