THE ROLE

The Global Operations team is responsible for ensuring our local markets are set up for success - making sure we have Standard Operating Procedures, processes and systems in place to deliver for our customers, as we experience a 10x growth in fleet size!

In this new and unique role, you’ll work with internal resources, interview experts, and attend relevant stakeholder meetings to investigate operational and organisational deficiencies within the current processes, to document improvements and detail more efficient/ effective systems. This person will collaborate on a cross functional level and drive continuous improvement.

You will be working closely with, and responsible for supporting our growing operations teams around the world to ensure that Zoomo is successful in developing and building a world class operations function.

To be successful in this role, the individual will need to be comfortable working in an ever changing, dynamic environment, be hands-on and have excellent communication, content creation and content management skills.

Candidates with experience working within high-growth, operational business will be suitable for this role. Specific bike and mechanic knowledge is not required (just an optional bonus!)

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will be responsible for the outlining of actions and processes to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity of the in-region workforces by focusing on the following areas:

  • Working with the relevant subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand operational processes from which to create engaging and effective instructional material.
  • Adapting and updating operational process and training materials on an ongoing basis, including to support the rollout of new or revised processes and systems.
  • Deliver key milestones of the global operations strategy and identify further opportunities that will drive operational excellence.
  • Support in business process management projects/ initiatives.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree, with at least 2-3 years experience in related functions such as Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Owners mindset and an ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
  • Track record of building things from the beginning and getting things done
  • Excellent communication with the ability to engage and align internal stakeholders
  • Relevant industry (startup, bike, automotive, mobility, technology) experience advantageous
