Job Position: Energy Management Analyst

 

Role and Duties

You will be responsible for investigating behind-the-meter incentives, tariffs, and markets in the US and abroad that support electric vehicle charging, solar, and/or storage. Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing incentive and tariff pairings across various markets
  • Providing the business development team with recommendations based on the analyses
  • Working with product and project managers to clearly communicate incentives, tariffs, and markets ChargeNet pursues
  • Attending utility, utility commission, and FERC update meetings, as well as other relevant discussions to learn about what will be changing in the market

 

Qualifications

  • Passion for green technology
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation communication skills
  • Collaborative
  • Organized
  • Knowledge of utility markets, programs, incentives, and tariffs, especially those in California and New York
  • Knowledge of demand response programs, especially those in California and Massachusetts
  • Ability to make data-backed decisions
  • English-fluency

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over three years of experience in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of power, energy, and electrical physics
  • Start-up experience
