The DevOps team is responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring systems and services on AWS, ensuring seamless operation and scalability. We collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence. Our goal is to monitor and improve operational excellence through self-service project templates, infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and other automation. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, who is passionate about cloud computing, automation, and collaboration.
Required Experience:
- Provisioning and configuring resources in the public cloud using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Building DevSecOps workflows in CI to minimize vulnerabilities and ensure compliance and software quality
- Kubernetes operational model, management, and delivery via GitOps (ArgoCD)
- Serverless applications (AWS Lambda, SQS/EventBridge, API GW, etc)
- Cloud architecture, networking concepts, and web protocols
- Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- SQL and managing relational databases
- Collaborating in team-oriented agile environments
- Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills, driving collaboration with peers and members of other teams.
- B.S. in computer science, related degree, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Python
- Observability stacks (LGTM – Loki/Grafana/Tempo/Mimir - and OpenTelemetry)
- NoSQL database engines and data/ETL pipelines
- Optimizing database clusters and queries
- Participating in an on-call rotation and incident management
- Internal developer portals and platform tools (Backstage)
The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 USD to $165,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
