We are the first B2B marketplace connecting farms with food & beverage businesses to sell imperfect and surplus produce, while digitizing one of the largest and most important industries that is still stuck in the dark ages.

 

More than ¼ of all edible produce globally goes to waste annually on-farms. We are solving this problem with our marketplace to help farmers easily sell their excess and have more transparency into the market. Our vision is three-fold: lower the cost of healthy food production, bring additional revenue streams to farmers, while significantly reducing wasted food and resources. Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO. This is an amazing opportunity for an energetic, experienced person to work directly with a passionate founder of a high-growth tech & impact start-up with a powerful mission. The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, manage internal and external communications and scheduling for the CEO, while helping her and the exec team manage the company’s priorities. The EA will work closely with all members of the executive team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as high level right-hand support to the Founder / CEO
  • Manage the CEO’s priorities and handle all scheduling, while acting as a gatekeeper
  • Manage CEO’s project and task management, collect and help drive list of key decisions she needs to make each day, such as: things to sign, documents to review, important emails, invitations, deadlines, reminders, etc.
  • Organize and ensure agendas for key company and exec meetings, taking detailed minutes and following up on all action items with the executive team and others. Ability to manage up to higher ups to ensure to dos are handled even with executives.
  • Assist with managing the CEO’s email inbox and meeting / networking follow ups
  • Schedule travel arrangements in a cost effective, timely manner; assist with the same for other senior executives when necessary
  • Communicate and coordinate with key external stakeholders, including: investors, buyers, suppliers, partners, press, and more
  • Assist with CEO’s marketing and speaking engagements, ad hoc marketing initiatives and writing/ applications
  • Be the point of contact between the CEO and the executives and company employees/clients for scheduling and information flow
  • Organize and maintain company’s Google Drive documentation and filing system
  • Create reports, presentations and briefs as requested
  • Making sure all expenses are properly recorded and categorized with receipts in coordination with Finance
  • Coordinate company and community events in the office and around the city, including team and customer events, social gatherings and more
  • Handle ad hoc administrative duties

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Full Harvest’s mission
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as Executive Assistant
  • Previous experience supporting a high-growth startup CEO a must
  • High level of detail and ability to execute at a high level
  • BA in business or other relevant field
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is needed
  • Proven track record bringing order and process to fruition in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced project manager who can juggle a lot of moving parts with strong, timely execution
  • Strong skills in written communication and experience communicating with high-level stakeholders
  • Bias for action -- takes initiative, is proactive, and doesn’t wait for direction
