Director of Information Technology

We are looking for an experienced Information Technology leader to join our team. This role will build a team to support infrastructure, networking, end user computing, data processing and information security at Twelve. The ideal candidate will have a history of scaling processes at a high-growth research & development organization.

Job Brief

In this position, you will be responsible for building out the internal Information Technology team at Twelve. The ideal candidate can create and scale processes to enable speed and increase reliability. You are motivated by superior service delivery and enabling the organization through new technology ideas.

What You Will Do

• Hire, retain and mature the information technology team
• Drive effective and efficient use of resources across people, process and technology
• Create and execute strategic and tactical plans to grow the organization
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners to anticipate and prepare for the future needs of the business
• Continually research and implement new technologies
• Develop future leaders of the Information Technology team
• Define team metrics in an ambiguous and dynamic environment

Who You Are

• 8+ years in Information Technology; 2+ years leading teams
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Strong project management skills
• Experience scaling technology at a research and development organization
• Ability to perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
