Your mission
  • You will develop and implement a comprehensive system for planning and setting up modern analytics for our industrial line. This includes the integration of incoming inspections, outgoing goods inspections and the development of process analytics and their continuous monitoring and control.
  • You will contribute your expertise in operational processes and laboratory set-up at an industrial level.
  • In the future, you will take over the process monitoring and management of the laboratory at our site in Dormagen and take care of the coordination between the various departments such as Quality Assurance, Industrialization and our teams in Aachen.
  • You will actively work on the further development and improvement of analysis techniques and ensure their smooth integration into the industrial process.
  • You will accompany and evaluate external test trials, monitor device setup and installation and provide the necessary support for the recruitment of new employees.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and supporting the certification of the laboratory to ensure that all requirements are met and the highest quality standards are adhered to.
  • In perspective, you will lead a team of 4 to 6 people, promote open communication and ensure that all team members are able to fulfill their tasks effectively and efficiently.
Your profile
  • You have several years of industrial experience in laboratory work and at best have already gained management experience.
  • You have experience in coordinating between different departments and ideally in managing a laboratory.
  • You have a degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • You have in-depth experience in analytical techniques, online analytics and their implementation in industrial and laboratory operations.
  • Ideally, you have already gained some experience with LIMS and/or DCS systems.
  • And ideally, you have already been involved in setting up a laboratory.
  • You approach new challenges with enthusiasm, show initiative and work independently and in a goal-oriented manner.
  • You enjoy developing technical concepts and working out practical solutions for automated processes.
  • You are characterized by a structured way of working and the ability to clearly document and communicate complex relationships.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
