About the role

Afresh is looking for a stellar Marketing leader to help us define and develop a new category in the market.  You'll be driving demand for our enterprise products, evolving how we tell our brand story and truly helping us connect to our audiences.  This is a critical leadership role that is uniquely positioned at the intersection of the business, the brand, and the customer to help us not just grow but also amplify our climate and food system impact!

What you'll do:

  • Set goals, plan, and prioritize across all areas of marketing including brand, product and account based marketing.
  • Manage current marketing team, plan for future hiring, and hire marketers that are passionate about driving growth and telling our story.
  • Collaborate on strategy across the company, be the voice of the customer, provide the marketing perspective, and serve as the liaison between product and GTM functions.
  • Maintain relationships and communicate with press/media about the company, product, team, and brand.
  • Collaborate on the company story and vision with the founding team and make sure our communications add value to our audience and maintain a high quality bar.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensure we are operating efficiently, and meeting metrics goals.

Skills and experience

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, including at B2B SaaS with experience in segment, persona, and industry-specific targeting.
  • Experience hiring marketers and managing them effectively.
  • Proven track record across all areas of marketing, depth in corporate or content marketing.
  • You've developed marketing strategies and tactics that put the customer first and understand to hit revenue goals at the same time.
  • Scrappiness and experimentation mindset. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves since we are still an early stage company.
  • Motivated by our mission and eager to tell our story!
