Senior Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer - provides engineering knowledge and effective project management skills in water and transport projects to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi- disciplinary engineering consultancy and to provide the complete hydrological and hydraulic analysis and design tasks as assigned by Managers or Project Managers for water and drainage catchment  modelling and design of flood defence infrastructure. Planning and conducting Engineering projects of a complex nature in order to meet client requirements. Leading and supporting winning of new work, developing client relationships, enhancing SMEC’s market brand.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: <ul><li>Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner.</li><li>Proactively collaborate with appropriate team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables.</li><li>Actively contribute to the commercial success of projects and the team.</li></ul>Accountability – Compliance: Actively promote a culture of zero tolerance for any misconduct, ensure:<ul><li>All staff working in your area of responsibility understand the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Integrity Policy and associated procedures;</li><li>Compliance risks associated with your area of responsibility are understood and managed effectively;</li><li>Appropriate processes and controls are implemented within your area of responsibly for managing compliance risk effectively;</li><li>Any incidents of suspected non-compliance with Company policies within your area of responsibility are reported and acted on in a timely way;</li><li>Company assurance processes to review and improve effectiveness of Compliance management within your area of responsibility are supported.</li></ul>Accountability - Workplace Health &amp; Safety: Ensures good health is maintained through safe work practices:<ul><li>WHS risks associated with the local operations are understood and managed effectively;</li><li>Appropriate resources and processes are available within the ANZ Division for managing WHS effectively;</li><li>Information about WHS performance and incidents within the ANZ Division is reported and acted on in a timely way;</li><li>Company assurance processes to review and improve effectiveness of WHS management within the ANZ Division are supported.</li></ul>At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
