They are BlaBlaCar’s representative and key point of contact for all its public stakeholders at federal and state levels.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise from a GR standpoint, strategic acumen, and a business-oriented mindset to navigate complex political and regulatory landscapes.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">The Head of Government Relations for Brazil will report to our Head of Government Relations at Headquarters and work in close collaboration with our VP of Marketplace Brazil, with counterparts from the Legal team, as well as with local PR teams.</span></div><br><br><h3>Your Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Develop and Execute Public Policy Strategies</b>: Design and implement the company’s public affairs strategy to promote BlaBlaCar's vision of sustainable mobility and contribute to building a fair regulatory space for carpooling.</li><li><b>Stakeholder Engagement</b>: Establish and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory agencies, and key policymakers to advocate for shared mobility and carpooling and bus policies in Brazil.</li><li><b>Regulatory and Legislative Monitoring</b>: Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting BlaBlaCar’s operations to give a head start to Legal teams while identifying opportunities for proactive engagement in order to defend or promote our model.</li><li><b>Advocacy and Representation</b>: Represent BlaBlaCar in industry associations, public forums, and conferences to promote the company's mission and policy objectives.</li><li><b>Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams</b>: Partner with internal teams (e.g., business, legal, communications, and operations) to align business goals with policy initiatives.</li><li><b>Policy Communication</b>: Develop position papers, policy briefs, and reports to effectively communicate BlaBlaCar's perspectives on mobility, sustainability, and digital innovation.</li><li><b>Crisis Management and Problem-Solving</b>: Address policy-related challenges impacting BlaBlaCar’s activities, proposing solutions to mitigate risks and enhance opportunities.</li><li><b>Project Coordination</b>: Lead strategic projects with government bodies and NGOs to advance shared mobility initiatives and environmental sustainability goals.</li></ul><h3>Your Qualifications </h3><ul><li><b>Experience</b>: at least 8 years of professional experience in government relations and public policy roles, whether in-house, at political level, or in an agency.
