Overview Of The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful delivery of solar projects in the
Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector. The role will involve managing the field operations team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the field operations team to execute projects effectively.
• Manage site surveys, feasibility studies, and system designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project performance against budgets and financial KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop technical proposals with detailed site layout drawing and energy requirements.
• Manage project progress, address challenges, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and procure necessary equipment and services for solar installations.
• Implement quality assurance and control measures to maintain high standards of project execution.
• Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and technical reports.
• Support the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team postcommissioning to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience managing C&I solar projects, with team leadership experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, including inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Familiarity with regulatory and permitting processes for solar installations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
