We are particularly interested to hear from people with a strong interest in working for a company that is committed to creating a sustainable society where people and nature flourish. Your key responsibilities will be:Phase 1 environmental site assessments: <ul><li>Undertaking desk-based research. </li><li>Carrying out site visits. </li><li>Preparing factual and interpretative reports. </li><li>Coordinating portfolios or deliver full Phase I Site Environmental Assessments. </li></ul> Phase 2 environmental and geo-environmental site investigations including: <ul><li>Scoping site investigations and drafting proposals and tenders</li><li>Planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations. </li><li>Assessment and interpretation of soil and groundwater analytical data. </li><li>Environmental risk assessments and detailed quantitative risk assessments. </li><li>Interpretative report writing and client liaison.  </li></ul>Remediation<ul><li>Contributing to remediation option appraisals, remediation strategies and verification reports.</li><li>Providing a remediation oversight role.  </li></ul>Project Management<ul><li>Project management of a range of projects with supervision.</li><li>Taking responsibility for project delivery / part delivery</li><li>Providing guidance and training to less experienced colleagues.</li><li>Financial project management</li></ul> Your role will include:<ul><li>Collaborating with colleagues in our multidisciplinary and international market, including Buildings, Transport, Energy, Water, Architecture and Landscape and Management Consulting.</li><li>Supporting existing clients and helping to develop new client relationships.</li><li>Project managing contaminated land and brownfield projects from start to finish.</li><li>Providing technical expertise and mentoring of earlier career team members.</li><li>Site supervision where senior expertise is needed, including site characterisation and remediation.</li><li>Contributing to Ramboll’s climate and sustainability commitments through the Site Solutions services we provide and the ways in which we work. </li></ul>We are interested to hear from you if you have experience in one or more of these areas:<ul><li>Contaminated land assessment.</li><li>Property and / or environmental due diligence.</li><li>Project management of contaminated land assessments and / or multi-disciplinary teams.</li><li>Environmental and human health risk assessment.</li><li>Remediation options appraisal and strategy.</li><li>Large due diligence projects e.g. industrial / data centre developments.</li><li>Demolition, decontamination, and decommissioning.</li></ul>The key deliverables for this role over the first 12-24 Months will be:<ul><li>Safely planning and undertaking intrusive site investigations. </li><li>Writing reports efficiently and to a high standard. </li><li>Working with analytical and environmental data.  </li><li>Project management, from inception to interpretative report delivery. </li></ul>Your new team You will be part of our Environment &amp; Health team based in one of Ramboll’s offices (UK Locations).
