This role will shape and define the overall People Ops team strategy and operating model. You will have the opportunity to help shape the strategy and to build from the ground up. You will be the critical leader in designing and implementing systems and processes that scale. You are a master at driving efficient, repeatable processes that generate consistent results. You’ll do what it takes to get the job done while simultaneously figuring out ways to automate, reduce friction, and increase quality. You have a strong understanding of HR fundamentals and you understand the technical side of HR, such as compliance and employment law requirements. This role is a key leadership role for the People team and reports to the VP People.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and define the overall People Ops team strategy and operating model, including: Onboarding, Offboarding, Compliance, Immigration, Contingent Workforce Management, and HR Support Infrastructure
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across functions such as Recruiting, Talent Strategy and Partners, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Legal to define process objectives and metrics that ensure success
  • Shape the strategy for critical business initiatives such as HR service desk and support infrastructure, contingent workforce management, and international expansion
  • Drive process design and be a key stakeholder of implementation of technology-enabled processes that drive efficiency for the People team and meet the needs of our business and employees
  • Ensure compliant employment infrastructure, including drafting and approval of all employee policies and procedures
  • Lead internal audits from an HR perspective
  • Own the processes and program associated with internal mobility and immigration

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred
  • 10+ years of cross-functional leadership and management experience in progressively more challenging roles. Prior experience leading People Ops or key functions within that team in 750+ employee organizations preferred
  • Experience with Workday a plus. Strong analytics background; advanced Excel skills.
