At Hitachi Energy we are investing to establish and develop an Operation Center of Excellence in Madrid, Spain (ESOPC) within Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe (HBUEU). Therefore, we are seeking highly qualified engineers in the fields of Power Electronics, Grid Integration, and Research and Development (R&D) to join us in this exciting opportunity.

In this context, with a pioneering technology-leading offering, Hitachi Energy’s Power Electronics Solutions Team supports the green energy transition with technologies that bring resilience, stability, and increased capacity to the power grid.
Hitachi Energy provides solutions to electrify and power networks and systems, including power electronic systems for power conversion and quality.
As part of the Spanish Operation Centre, you will be part of a team to support the design, manufacturing and delivery of such technologies all over Europe.
How you'll make an impact
Support of the implementation of BIM into projects working with global teams and other business units to incorporate best practices.
Support the development of BIM Execution Plans and ensure that the specified plan is followed during project execution.
Support development and trainings of team on BIM processes and tools.
Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines, including frequent model management administration and maintenance.
Support BIM coordination meetings.
Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project set up.
Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams.
Your background
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, with 3 years' experience in Drafting/CAD.
Experience in Revit, ACC, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM authoring tools for technical support and mentoring.
Experience in BIM coordination, methodologies, and data management.
Ability to manage time and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
We seek a self-motivated achiever who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Advanced proficiency in English is essential due to the international nature of our work environment. Additional language skills are highly valued.
Willingness to travel up to 10%; more in the beginning for learning.
