Staff Fullstack Engineer (Carta Pod)

London - Hybrid

About Us

Climate X is a purpose-driven climate adaptation data company set to revolutionise how the world manages assets, property, and infrastructure.

We apply cutting-edge, peer-reviewed science to help prevent the worst impacts of climate change. By combining climate projections, remote sensing observations, and modelling, we project the frequency and severity of physical climate risks such as floods, subsidence, storms, and more.

Our SaaS platform, Spectra, enables financial institutions and real estate firms to:

- Assess how property and company assets could be affected by severe weather events.

- Understand the potential financial and valuation impacts of climate risks.

- Build resilience to climate change and make informed investment and lending decisions.

Carta, one of our core products, maps the physical assets of companies and their subsidiaries, enabling investment banks and asset managers to assess climate risks without requiring direct geolocation data from their clients. This allows us to engage with financial institutions more effectively, providing invaluable climate risk insights at scale.

Following a successful Series A funding round led by Google Ventures, we are in a period of exciting growth and innovation in the climate tech space.
