Everyone is highly valued and plays a vital role in the growth of our organization.</p></div><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Oversee consolidation and inter-company elimination entries monthly</li><li>Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for the current team, while conducting performance evaluations</li><li>Plan and implement policies and procedures that align with the company’s financial strategy</li><li>Manage the company’s financial, payables, cash receipts, and assets</li><li>Oversee technical accounting such as ASC 606 and ASC 842</li><li>Lead the company’s annual financial audit</li><li>Monitor and analyze financial accounting data</li><li>Ensure compliance at various levels (local, state, and federal)</li><li>Review and approve monthly account reconciliations</li><li>Own month and year-end close processes, delivering results on time with high accuracy</li><li>Review financial results versus budget and prior periods, identifying trends and concerns</li><li>Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, update of rolling 3-month cash forecast</li><li>Oversee filing and/or support of the filing of sales/use, and personal property tax returns.</li><li>Work closely with outside CPA firm regarding preparation of corporate income tax returns and review the tax provisions</li><li>Additional tasks as requested</li></ul><p> </p><h2>Qualifications:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, or Finance; CPA highly desired</li><li>7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong knowledge of general ledger and consolidations accounting; 2+ years as a people manager</li><li>Big 4 (3+ years) and private industry experience (3+ years) are strongly desired</li><li>Ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute in a high-pressure environment</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif, etc.) and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports</li><li>Must possess a positive attitude and ability to adapt to changes in workload and job requirements</li><li>Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams</li><li>Knowledge of ASC 606 and 842 is a must</li></ul><div><div><div><p>Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
