About the role

As Afresh's VP of Sales, you will refine, optimize and execute the sales strategy to drive the end-to-end sales process from lead gen to account expansion and guide the next phase of Afresh’s rapid growth. We need a strategic thinker, strong team leader, and someone who excels at leading organizations to “roll up their sleeves and get things done” in a dynamic fast-growth environment.

  • Scale up and maintain a best-in-class sales team through excellent recruiting, training, and professional development, all during a period of rapid growth
  • Design compensation and incentive programs that engage and motivate the sales team while driving productivity and sales strategy
  • Oversee the management of Sales Director and SDR activities, pipeline analysis and forecasting efforts to ensure predictable top-line growth
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Product leaders to identify and prioritize new revenue growth opportunities, and design go to market playbooks to effectively capitalize on them
  • Design and execute new strategies for improving sales rep performance, shortening sales cycle, and driving land & expand business model with enterprise accounts
  • Collaborate with Marketing to standardize and up-level our sales positioning, prioritize enablement and content development, and drive pipeline growth
  • Develop and consistently iterate and improve upon key sales metrics reporting for the organization in conjunction with Revenue Operations
  • Partner with GTM leadership to facilitate strong cross-functional teaming and clearly defined rules of engagement, resulting in a superb customer lifecycle
  • Refine, optimize and execute the sales strategy to exceed revenue targets including end-to-end sales process from lead gen to account expansion

Skills and experience

  • 10+ years of sales management experience, preferably in scaling a metrics-driven SaaS sales team at a rapidly growing technology company
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding commercial targets
  • Wide breadth of experience working with the full spectrum of sales talent: from entry-level SDRs to veteran Account Executives
  • Extensive experience with enterprise sales and demonstrated success managing complex deal and negotiation strategies
  • Significant experience working with revenue operations (forecasting, planning, sales tools, reporting, compensation and quota management)
  • Experience managing international sales efforts a plus
  • Strong leadership skills; demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate on cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support
