Join the Wingtra team and become part of this venture-backed robotics scaleup with a global and international team of 120+ dedicated Wingtranauts who want to see their actions have a positive and lasting impact on the world. Founded more than 9 years ago at ETH Zurich, Europe鈥檚 leading robotics university, our goal is to build the best aerial robots to digitize the world at the push of a button and set the basis for faster and better decisions. Wingtra provides efficient and reliable data solutions to a variety of industries ranging from mining, construction and agriculture to humanitarian organizations, environmentalists and wildlife monitoring groups.
Responsibilities
- Assembly of WingtraOnes for customers
- Calibration and quality control of our drones
- Gluing, sanding, drilling, labeling of parts and subassemblies
- Mounting and wiring of electronics
- Simple inventory management
- Support in other areas of production
- Assisting in the improvement of existing processes and products
Requirements
- Basic technical training (e.g. EFZ electronics technician, automation technician, Polymech..) or several years of professional experience in a similar position
- Interest in working with an innovative team and rapidly changing processes and helping to shape them
- Craftsmanship and flair for precise work
- Very good communication skills in English
Plus
- 3 or more years of assembly experience of electromechanical devices
- Performance record for precise work
- Background in Lean and 5S
- Basic experience in CAD preferred Solidworks to help our Production Engineer
- Experience in soldering cables, connectors, SMD components
