About the Job

We are looking for a GSM supporting direct materials for our electrolyzer. The Global Supply Manager manages all company business with a group of suppliers and is the important internal interface with Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations teams. The GSM develops an understanding of their components and develops supplier alternatives who can supply those components while considering landed costs. You will be based at our office in Devens, MA.
Responsibilities
Identify supplier alternatives with the right capabilities and qualifications to meet our expectations and growing capacity needs
Collect the necessary data internally to communicate externally with RFQs, then review to document potential supplier's offerings and capabilities. Additionally, gather other commercial information that is material to sourcing decisions
Collaborate with Engineering and Program Management on engineering development builds to ensure raw material and component supply
Work with suppliers to ensure transparent cost breakdowns that are informed by their contribution processes
Support supplier industrialization and supplier quality engineers when needed during development and industrialization phases to validate production capacity
Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers on General Terms & Conditions and Production Supply Agreements
Travel to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviews (10-15%)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related field
3+ years in purchasing, buying, or procurement in a technical environment using an ERP system (Business Central or other)
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools (Arena or other)
Demonstrated experience making data-driven decisions with incomplete information
Experience with some of the following systems: Metallic Mechanicals, Die Cuts (i.e gaskets, films)
Written and verbal skills and organizational and program management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
5+ years of supply chain experience
Product launch experience
Previous work in a startup environment

$96,000—$105,000 USD
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
