About the team

Today the People Team at Twelve includes People Operations, Onboarding, and Workplace Management. We’re in the foundational stages of building a first in class People team which will be tasked with optimizing and retaining Twelve’s high performing team. This role will report directly to Twelve’s Chief People Officer once the CPO role is filled

Job Brief

Creating a culture of learning and individual growth are core values at Twelve. We’re looking for a Learning and Development leader to design and launch a robust, organization wide learning program. As Twelve’s first Learning and Development (L&D) leader, you will help to unleash employee potential through designing,  implementing, and measuring effective programs to promote learning and accelerate employee growth. As Twelve scales rapidly, we are committed to providing our team members to scale with the organization.

What you will do

  • Identify and align learning programs to business objectives and employee needs. 
  • Uplevel Twelve’s leadership team through manager development programs focused on building skills to support hyper growth. 
  • Develop tailored learning content and facilitate learning sessions specific to the learners at Twelve. 
  • Oversee the growth and development of new hire orientation and evolve new employee onboarding. 
  • Measure program effectiveness and collect feedback for continuous improvement
  • Identify external resources and manage vendor/consultant relationships
  • Design internal coaching programs and partner with HR to implement 1:1 coaching for people managers across the organization
  • Build a high performing team to support the learning programs at Twelve. 

Who you are

  • You have experience as a leader in learning and development functions, preferably in a fast-growing technology environment
  • You have demonstrable experience designing and rolling out new L&D programming
  • You are a skilled presenter and facilitator, and can adapt your delivery style based on audience and context
  • You communicate clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal forms
  • You believe in growth mindset - enabling others to learn and grow is your passion and dedication
  • You have current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
