Job Brief

As a Senior Electrolyzer Engineer, you will work with the team tasked with improving the electrochemical stack performance. You will be working with a cross-functional team to develop and optimize hardware and operation conditions for the CO2 conversion process at industrially relevant scales. You will participate in designing and conducting electrochemical tests, and analyzing experimental results to guide future directions.

What You Will Do

• Propose and apply optimizations to our stack system with a data driven approach
• Make calculations related to thermal, electrical and electrochemical properties within the stack
• Analyze and interpret experimental results
• Share data with cross-functional teams and facilitate discussions to guide experimental plan
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems
• Generate and review experimental procedures for new and existing scale-up units
• Prepare presentations and report on progress at internal meetings

Who You Are

• Degree in a STEM field required
• You have demonstrable hands-on experience working in a research or industrial lab
• You have experience working with stacked electrochemical devices with flowing reactants
• You are experienced with gas delivery systems, piping, valving and PID control
• You have experience and technical knowledge in electrochemistry, with a strong background in statistical analysis
• You have high attention to detail and outstanding communication skills through all channels
• You are adept at working with cross-functional groups and multiple stakeholders
• You have experience in programming languages such as Python (desired but not required)
