SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to support end to end execution of a supply chain management strategy for the organization. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will assist in implementing procurement support on a tactical level dealing with project level logistics, vendor management, and procurement operational level support. In addition, this candidate will support all Solar Operations for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support execution of a global organizational supply chain management strategy based upon continuous monitoring and forecasting of variable market conditions 
  • Assists operations in purchasing budgets, plans, policies, and procedures within the organization 
  • Assists in executing the purchasing strategy to supply projects sites with Just-In-Time delivery minimizing warehousing and logistics costs enterprise wide, while monitoring budgetary impacts. 
  • Supports operations and logistics in all procurement and logistical needs to include equipment purchasing & project budgeting and warehouse management/inventory in order to facilitate solar project builds. 
  • Support the Director, Supply Chain and Manager, Strategic Sourcing in all facets of procurement, logistics, and estimation. 
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and distributors to ensure project schedules and budgets are successfully achieved. 
  • Vendor onboarding, warranty documentation, specification drawing management, and equipment RFQs 
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and construction teams, as well as key vendors on equipment specifications and delivery timing through scheduled weekly meetings and on demand requests

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years supply chain, project management, manufacturing, or construction experience and/or knowledge, industry best practices of PV industry.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to manage a multitude of contemporary tasks and deadlines and independently prioritize tasks accordingly. 
  • Experience with Netsuite, Procore, and Salesforce or equivalent ERP, Project Management, and CRM platforms preferred.
