In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the company’s internal software development infrastructure, as well as the developer experience of every Hayden software engineer. If you are a true force multiplier, you will feel right at home on our team! You will establish and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, manage source code repositories, and ensure robust testing and staging environments for new releases. Acting as a key facilitator and gatekeeper, you will optimize workflows to reduce bottlenecks and maintain high levels of quality and reliability across the entire development lifecycle.<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul style=""><li>Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and release processes</li><li>Oversee source code management tools and repositories, ensuring code integrity and proper versioning</li><li>Set up and maintain testing and staging environments to guarantee high-quality releases</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure needs and implement best practices</li><li>Oversee and manage the internal build farm fleet.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build failures, deployments, and environment configurations</li><li>Monitor, analyze, and optimize development pipeline performance</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation on infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and best practices</li><li>Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the development infrastructure</li></ul><h2>Requirements:</h2><ul style=""><li>6+ years of industry experience. </li><li>Deep knowledge of Amazon’s AWS ecosystem at scale, including but not limited to EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, Lambda, etc. </li><li>Strong understanding of best practices in the areas of Networking, Security, Distributed Compute, Storage, Observability, and Continuous Deployment.  </li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release process, source code management tools.</li><li>Strong knowledge of infrastructure as a code tooling, such as Terraform. </li><li>Ability to analyze trade offs of different solutions, and make effective decisions on build vs. buy. Active participation in the open source community for the former, and vendor relationship management for the latter. </li><li>Proven problem-solving skills; ability to take ownership of issues and driving towards resolution effectively.</li><li>Being comfortable in an agile, fast-paced environment; ability to organize chaos and leave things cleaner than you found them.</li></ul>
