Job Description:The Senior Supply Planner will be based in Hyderabad. In this position, you will report to the Director, APAC Planning. The Senior Supply Planner brings tactical expertise &amp; strategic thinking to support a world-class demand-driven supply chain. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of supply planning for our solar tracker components comprising varied commodities (Castings, Electromechanical Sub-systems, Stampings Steel Tubes, Foundations etc.). You will be working closely with Suppliers, Program Management, Procurement, Logistics &amp; Delivery Managers to ensure that we have the materials we need to meet our delivery schedules &amp; Revenue goals. You will be owner for Vendor’s performance on Delivery &amp; representing Planning during QBRs (Quarterly Business Review). Watch “<a href="https://youtu.be/BtjIN9oHRMY?si=ONfWJ-vFlLZckjrE">Culture is our Passion</a>” to learn more about us.We are looking for someone who demonstrates:<ul><li>Passionate drive to innovate and create</li><li>Integrity to the core</li><li>Enthusiastic customer focus</li><li>Consistent interactive teamwork</li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and top performance.</li></ul>Here is a glimpse of what you will do:<ul><li>​​Will be responsible for improving the overall experience for Vendors &amp; Delivery Managers alike by ensuring vendors clearly understand the delivery schedules &amp; delivery managers are apprised timely about their Project’s material readiness status.</li><li>Communicate protocols across the value chain to ensure transparent &amp; effective communication &amp; also deploy best Supply Planning practices.</li><li>Perform supplier allocations based on Customer schedules, Supply Capacities, Supplier agreements &amp; inventory levels.</li><li>Analyse Item level forecast/demand vs Capacity to signal any potential supply Risks</li><li>Perform Capacity RAMP UP/ RAMP DOWN scenarios for NPI Parts</li><li>Provide early alerts to Delivery Managers for any supplier gaps on Delivery Schedules &amp; work with vendor on recovery plans to de-risk project LDs / penalties.</li><li>Manage supplier relationships &amp; ensure Vendor OTD (On-Time Delivery)</li><li>Develop and implement process improvements to streamline the supply planning process</li><li>Vendor Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to coordinate internally with Procurement, Sourcing, NPI &amp; logistics for their respective actions.</li><li>Host weekly supplier meetings for updates on PO status, raw material, forecast, quality, procurement and logistics concerns.</li><li>Participate in quarterly supplier QBRs and provide feedback for mutual success.</li><li>Support testing and adoption of Anaplan to expedite planning system transformation.</li><li>Generate reports and presentations on supply planning activities.</li></ul>Here is some of what you will need (required):<ul><li>​​Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related fiel8d with (8-10) years of experience in Supply Planning, preferably in the manufacturing industry</li><li>Experience with planning methodologies (e.g., S&amp;OP, Demand Planning, Strategic Planning).</li><li>Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.</li><li>Expert MS EXCEL Skills leveraging Power Query, Power Pivots, Solvers etc.</li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences<ul><li>APICS CPIM / CSCP Certification.</li><li>GO GETTER” Attitude &amp; takes ownership on closing the ends</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals</li></ul>At Nextracker, we are leading in the energy transition, providing the most comprehensive portfolio of intelligent solar tracker and software solutions for solar power plants, as well as strategic services to capture the full value of solar power plants for our customers.
