Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Provide skilled maintenance support to proactively identify and prevent failure points in operations equipment by interpreting operator feedback, understanding machine status indications and functions, and recommending action.</li><li>Contribute to improving our maintenance management system through Root Cause Analysis and resolving errors that occur with a preventive mindset.</li><li>Collaborate as a multidisciplinary team member with electrical, process, and reliability colleagues to prioritize tasks and investments to meet operational needs and initiatives for an assigned area of the plant.</li><li>Support and engage in our ISO/TS quality management system by maintaining equipment to a high standard of care and contributing feedback to the maintenance management system to prevent any deviations in critical-to-quality processes.</li><li>Maintain, repair, and recommend upgrades for process equipment including blowers, compressors, extruders, heaters, dehumidifiers, web conveying, winding, and slitting.</li><li>Support maintaining plant utilities, including steam, compressed air, chilled water, cooling tower water, and associated equipment systems.</li><li>Assist engineering in the design, installation, start up, shut down, and planned maintenance of new or modified equipment in accordance with US and Freudenberg safety procedures and standards.</li><li>Supervise and/or assist contract personnel as needed to perform work safely and to the level of quality expected by Freudenberg.</li><li>Maintain high standards for workmanship and housekeeping before, during, and after work, and contribute to cleanliness and 5S adherence in shared areas.</li><li>Contribute to rotating on-call duties providing maintenance expertise and hands-on support when needed.</li><li>Provide skills training to other maintenance personnel to enhance equipment reliability and safety.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>A two-year technical degree in Industrial Systems or related field focusing on machine maintenance. Certificates in PLCs, Hydraulics, and/or Pneumatics are beneficial.</li><li>0-5 years of technical support experience working in an industrial environment, prior experience in extrusion, plastics, and web handling or winding is a plus.</li><li>Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System for preventive maintenance work tracking and corrective requests is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of rotating equipment failure modes and maintenance techniques to identify, prevent and correct.</li><li>Experience and training in pipefitting, sheet metal fabrication and welding are preferred.</li><li>Good communications skills, both verbal and written, and ability to collaborate effectively with team members of varying levels of technical experience.</li><li>Ability to work overtime or non-regular hours when needed to support 24/7 operations.
