Loop Overview

Loop is a global platform for the reuse of returnable packaging. It's the very first ecosystem to bring together major international brands and retailers to replace as much of the disposable packaging used on our everyday products as possible with reusable, returnable packaging.

How does it work? Consumers buy their returnable product in-store. They consume it, and then return the empty packaging to the store for a refund of the deposit. Rather than being thrown away, empty packaging is recovered and cleaned, before being returned to suppliers to be refilled and put back on the market.

In France, the Loop platform is present in over 250 Carrefour, Monoprix and Coopérative U stores, and we will soon be rolling out the concept to other chains.

If you'd like to join a growing team in a high-impact start-up and play an active role in the development of reuse, contact us!

Job Overview

The aim of this position is to develop a portfolio of new brands and retailers in the mass retail sector who wish to commit to reuse. Your mission will be to offer them customized support, adapted to their level of maturity in terms of reuse.

You will work closely with the Sales Director to achieve the strategic objectives set for the French market, while occasionally interacting with European prospects. You will also work in coordination with the partnership and operational teams.

We're looking for someone who is committed, motivated by challenges, and able to evolve with agility in a dynamic, constantly changing environment. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the development of a waste-reducing reuse initiative throughout France.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential new partners (brands and manufacturers) in line with our strategic objectives
  • Manage and monitor the pipeline of opportunities, supporting prospects throughout the sales cycle and negotiating independently
  • Develop and implement an effective prospecting strategy, with the support of the sales manager
  • Prepare convincing presentations and sales proposals tailored to prospects' needs
  • Rigorous follow-up of opportunities and results using CRM tools (Hubspot)
  • Participate in industry events to identify new opportunities and raise the company's profile
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other Loop team members in France and abroad to develop strategic projects.

For this position, we are looking for a committed, ambitious, dynamic and autonomous profile with a desire to get involved in an impact company.

The ideal candidate:

  • Successful experience (2 to 5 years) in business development or partnership management, similar experience in a start-up is a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English (C1 level)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and oral
  • You know how to communicate and clearly articulate different messages, adapted to your contacts, in order to involve them in projects.
  • You are methodical in your work, know how to prioritize actions, and are able to juggle several tasks.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A taste for challenge, you like to surpass yourself and think outside the box to achieve your goals
  • You have a valid driving licence
