We are looking for a Senior Technical and Business Analyst to drive innovation and solution development in Grid Automation. In this role you will collaborate with dynamic global technology teams with niche competences and cutting-edge technology. You will be developing the power grids of the future, creating software that is used in crucial infrastructure and real time. The product is designed to have a long life while also being very efficient and secure.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Establish strong relationship with business stakeholders by demonstrating knowledge and skills required to support business analysis and development teams

  • Understand the customer journey and business value realization through solutions designed and developed by the development team.

  • Capture, document, analyze business requirements from technical perspective. Consolidate, simplify, and prioritize those requirements. Monitor requirements queue.

  • Define technical solutions fulfilling business requirements, leveraging best practices

  • Act as a Software Subject Matter Expert (SME) contributing to functional and technical designs. Provide expertise to business stakeholders, application operations or project teams to either support ongoing operations or develop new solutions

  • Collaborate with architects, application teams, project delivery teams and 3rd party service providers to ensure consistent design of provided solutions and to estimate effort required to achieve those & ensure functional and technical specification supports an overall solution design

  • Provide a good understanding of product and business owner needs, transparency and continuous engagement, propose new solutions and solve challenging problems

  • Participate in project phases: scoping, analysis & design, build, acceptance tests, deployments and releases, demonstrate to business users how IT solutions work and answer questions

Your Background

  • 5+ years of experience as Business or Functional Analyst (or similar role)

  • 3+ years of technical analysis, development, automated testing or similar

  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written is required

  • Experience in SQL, REST (for testing purposes), Git, Confluence

  • Passion for creating accurate task descriptions for the development team including the ability to create diagrams.

  • Understand and interpret systems architecture & open and communicative approach to addressing extensive challenges.
