The Project

ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2, Sydney’s third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.

Project scope includes:

• Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction
• Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels
• Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway

In line with the above, ACCIONA is now looking for a HR Coordinator to join the HR team at our main office in North Sydney, this role will be required to…

Key accountabilities for the position:

• Providing advice and working with key leaders across all HR matters.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including managing correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and HR documentation as required by the team.
• Support the planning and execution of HR initiatives and events, such as employee engagement activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment on HR-related matters.
• Champion HR and Training initiatives to ensure successful implementation.

Capability & Experience you will need to have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and various employment laws and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to maintain effective communication with all levels of the organization.
• Highly organised with exceptional time management and planning abilities.
• The ability to influence, negotiate and motivate others.
