Responsibilities:

Join our Board Office team, supporting top management on strategic initiatives that drive growth and innovation. In this role, you will contribute to mergers & acquisitions (M&A), strategic projects, and financial initiatives. Please note that the position requires you to be based in Munich, Germany, for the first one (1) to two (2) years, offering invaluable international experience, before transitioning to a U.S.-based role.

  • Market research and analysis: Identify strategic opportunities by analyzing industry trends, competitors, and acquisition targets.

  • Financial modeling and valuations: Develop and review valuation models for acquisition targets to support investment decisions.

  • Due Diligence: Analyze financial statements, identify synergies and risks, support project management, and contribute to decision-making documents for the Board of Management.

  • Operational and integration projects: Implement improvement projects in operations, finance, HR, and IT, and manage integration programs for acquired companies.

  • Strategic planning: Develop interdisciplinary and international strategic projects to enhance the business group's positioning and growth.

  • Reports and presentations: Deliver insights and transparency on business and industry developments to key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with business units & corporate functions to execute projects and generate actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background: Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a comparable field is required.

  • Professional experience: Relevant, practical experience (2 to 3+ years) in corporate strategy, M&A, strategy consulting, or investment banking with a proven ability to contribute effectively to high-impact projects is required.

  • Technical skills: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, financial modeling, and valuation expertise.

  • Personal attributes: Hands-on problem solver with a proactive, results-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently.

  • Communication skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication for engaging with senior decision-makers.

  • Collaboration: Comfortable with cross-functional and international teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
