As key revenue drivers for the company, Account Executives are expected to achieve established sales quotas. This is a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Proactively identify and source new business opportunities with utility customers and partners.</li><li>Leverage your network within Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), Municipal Utilities, and Co-ops to accelerate engagement, build a robust pipeline, and shorten sales cycles.</li><li>Drive revenue growth at current utility accounts while achieving annual sales quotas, consistently qualifying new opportunities.</li><li>Work closely with channel partners and the partnership team to build strategic relationships that drive innovative sales opportunities.</li><li>Collaborate with DER providers and other key stakeholders in the energy and demand-side management industries.</li><li>Build and nurture relationships with managers, directors, and executives at electric and gas utilities, particularly in EE, DR, and VPP sectors.</li><li>Lead account teams and work closely with Recurve leadership to identify expansion opportunities while ensuring client satisfaction and health.</li><li>Master and communicate Recurve’s value-driven and innovative approach to the energy industry.</li><li>Respond to and support solution development for RFIs, RFPs, and similar initiatives.</li><li>Manage opportunities from contract negotiation to closure, collaborating with Recurve and client legal teams.</li><li>Embody Recurve’s Core Values, contributing positively to the company culture.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of experience in strategic market development or utility sales roles, preferably within the energy or climate tech space. </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.</li><li>Demonstrated track record in energy markets and utilities, preferably in demand-side management, distributed energy resources, and energy efficiency.</li><li>Strong understanding of the industry including the energy landscape, with a focus on electric utilities.</li><li>Strong presentation skills and comfortability communicating technical aspects</li><li>Demonstrate confidence and take initiative in challenging the status quo while fostering relationships with new potential clients.
