Reporting to the Group IT VP (CIO), the BC/Navision ERP Manager will be responsible for the evolution, support and maintenance of the Business Central/Navision ERP globally (for the different sites internationally).

 

The candidate will be supervising a team of BC/Nav specialists located in Montréal and in the Asia/Pacific region.

The first objective of this person will be to lead the ERP migration of 5 different BC & Navision installations around the world into one Cloud (SaaS) tenant with multiple instances.

Over the years, help in migrating from BC to an SAP core ERP solution.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Migration of hosted BC and Navision to one Cloud tenant with multiple instances
  • Technical design, development and testing of core Business Central Apps
  • Integration of ERP modules and Applications into Business Central
  • Train, Implement, and Support customizations in BC
  • Ensure BC is well supported for all users worldwide
  • Train end-users on how to use Microsoft Business Central
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development
  • Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents
  • Make technical recommendations for installation, modifications and custom development
  • Ensure development best practices are adhered to
  • Create, Design and modify the default reporting in BC
  • Conduct Code Reviews and mentor other team members
  • Communicate effectively in all mediums and to all levels within the organization.
  • Identify software or service opportunities including training, modules, business process consulting, and development

 

Qualifications

 

 

Experience requirement:

  • 10+ years in Navision or Business Central management
  • 4+ Years in team management/supervision
  • In depth understanding all aspects of ERP support and operations
  • Proven ability to translate business processes in applicable ERP configurations

Education requirement:

  • Bachelor in IT or A degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering in a related field is required.
  • MB-800 is a nice to have
