Job Title: Operations & Maintenance InternDepartment: Project OperationsReports to: Director, O&MEffective Date: May 2025Location: Albany, NY | HybridTravel: Up to 5% POSITION PURPOSE: This is a paid temporary, non-exempt position that will be reporting to the Director, Operations & Maintenance. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Project Operations team, supporting the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) department. this internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry while contributing to critical initiatives, including the integrations of a new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other O&M projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the implementation and testing of the new CMMS, ensuring accurate data migration and configuration
Support the collection, analysis, and organization of asset performance and maintenance data.
Collaborate with the O&M team to develop documentation, workflows, and training materials for the CMMS.
Conduct research and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and system functionality.
Participate in routine O&M activities such as reporting, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless integration of CMMS with existing systems.
Provide general administrative support to O&M team as needed.
WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Strong interest in project operations, asset management, and/or renewable energy industries.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CMMS or similar software is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
