POSITION PURPOSE:  
 This is a paid temporary, non-exempt position that will be reporting to the Director, Operations & Maintenance. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Project Operations team, supporting the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) department. this internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry while contributing to critical initiatives, including the integrations of a new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other O&M projects.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of the new CMMS, ensuring accurate data migration and configuration
  • Support the collection, analysis, and organization of asset performance and maintenance data.
  • Collaborate with the O&M team to develop documentation, workflows, and training materials for the CMMS.
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and system functionality.
  • Participate in routine O&M activities such as reporting, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless integration of CMMS with existing systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to O&M team as needed.

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in project operations, asset management, and/or renewable energy industries.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CMMS or similar software is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
