What you'll do

  • Lead on forming our US demand response and device aggregation strategies
  • Dive deep into market rules in all of the restructured markets and support with policy strategy that amplifies the value of demand response and DER management
  • Develop demand response as an integrated risk management tool
  • Build strategic relationships with device manufactures
  • Write technical and non-technical summaries for a wide variety of industry audiences
  • Monitor and interact with PUC proceedings – be a thought leader in the power of demand response
  • Build a comprehensive user engagement path that challenges current assumptions on what’s possible with demand response

What you'll need

  • Experience in multiple ISOs and a view on FERC 2222
  • Technical experience with DERs and VPPs
  • Engineering degree or business/strategy background
  • 4+ years of energy efficiency, renewable energy or demand response program management experience
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder and partner engagement
  • Experience in wholesale power markets
  • The ability to operate in a fluid environment, well versed in working autonomously within a dynamic and fast-paced culture.
  • An entrepreneurial flair - able to spot opportunities and evaluate them for strategic value using intuition.
  • Proper smarts. A strong problem solver and ability to think laterally.
