We are seeking a passionate and driven Chemical Engineer with a Direct Air Capture (DAC) background to join our team at Yggdrasil Trees as we develop a decentralized, multi-purpose DAC solution for urban environments. We are an early-stage, pre-seed, pre-revenue, fast-moving startup seeking a driven and resourceful individual to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes ownership, and is passionate about tackling challenging problems with limited resources.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and refinement of the Techno-Economic Assessment (TEA), ensuring the feasibility and scalability of our solution.
Drive sorbent selection based on system requirements and inform strategic partnership decisions aligned with our technology roadmap.
Provide technical guidance on DAC system mechanics, supporting the team in designing and optimizing system performance.
Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on emerging DAC technologies and industry advancements.
Collaborate closely with the team, bringing a mission-driven, adaptable, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
