You will directly contribute to our growth and success in creating a greener world.Key Responsibilities:<ul style=""><li>Coordinate the planning and execution of road &amp; sea transportation for our global network of buyers and sellers by working closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and transport providers whilst maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on Safi’s platform </li><li>Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements for different modes of transport and geographies </li><li>Prepare and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin</li><li>Resolve any operational issues, such as delays or rollovers, and coordinate corrective actions</li><li>Coordinate the shipping process internally with Safi’s Quality &amp; Finance teams</li><li>Work with Logistics Team Lead and Product Team on process and tooling improvements</li></ul>Requirements:<ul style=""><li>Experience in ocean logistics operations, gained through previous experience such as freight forwarding, or an in-house logistics department </li><li>Strong attention to detail, and eye for errors and omissions</li><li>Proactive, able to use their own initiative to manage operational escalations </li><li>Ability to develop a strong understanding of and manage the documentation/differing processes required for different export/import geographies</li><li>Able to work in an unstructured and dynamic environment to transform the recycling industry with technology</li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul>Nice to have:<ul style=""><li>Working proficiency in Spanish or French </li><li>Experience dealing with customs and import/export processes relating to carriage of waste</li></ul>Please note: Some overlap with UK time zone (GMT) will be required
