The projects will range in size from 500 KW to 5 MW.Principal Duties &amp; Responsibilities:(Management may amend or assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time)<ul><li>Review engineered drawings for interconnection, IFP, IFC and closeout to ensure compliance with contract requirements and best design practices.</li><li>Review engineered drawings to ensure accuracy with major electrical specifications, including DC/AC ratio, conduit and wire sizing, breaker, panelboard and transformer sizes and specifications per customer requirements.</li><li>Review electrical drawings against civil and structural drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency across all engineering disciplines.</li><li>Use Procore to prepare and organize submittals and RFIs related to all engineering disciplines including electrical, structural and civil.</li><li>Coordinating with vendors for equipment specifications and requirements per the project schedule, customer requirements and best practices for electrical systems.</li><li>Tracking engineering completion progress for projects from interconnection, IFP, IFC and as built deliverables.</li><li>Participate in engineering coordination calls and take minutes for record.</li><li>Coordination of site work for engineers (includes electrical surveys, drone surveys, civil and structural scopes as needed.</li><li>All other duties and projects assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>3-5 years’ experience working as Electrical Project Engineer for a solar engineering firm or renewable energy company.</li><li>Proven experience in reviewing engineered drawings and managing engineering documentation, particularly in renewable energy projects.</li><li>Experience with electrical systems design, including DC/AC ratio, wire sizing, breakers, panelboards, and transformers.</li><li>Familiarity with interconnection, IFP, IFC, and closeout processes in renewable energy projects.</li><li>Proficient in Procore, Aurora or Helioscope with some knowledge of AutoCAD preferred, but not required.</li><li>Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage cross-disciplinary teams.</li></ul>Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibility.Expected Hours of Work: An Employee is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week.
