About the role:
We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Staff System Test Engineer with strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication and collaboration skills to design and develop various system test activities in a fast-paced & Challenging environment. As a Senior System Test Engineer, you will join a team focused on Systems Integration and Testing of all Enphase product offerings across all business units within Enphase Energy. You will lead data analysis of all Beta Programs worldwide, identify problems, and develop use cases to be executed in the system test lab. Your responsibilities will include developing test plans and strategies, drawing test bed schematics, and setting up complete end-to-end systems involving Gateways, EV Chargers, AC Batteries, Microinverters, Controller Switches, Load Controls, and Cloud and Mobile Apps for various countries. You will also interact with offshore teams, perform end-to-end system tests, and publish results to key stakeholders while acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned projects. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for system integration and end-to-end testing.
- Actively participate in engineering discussions by reviewing technical documents, product and design specifications, providing feedback from a system test perspective, and developing detailed test scenarios.
- Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects involving multiple Enphase systems and configurations.
- Develop and implement System integration test plans that include test bench schematics, covering multiple configurations, set up the system in lab to work seamlessly for system test activities
- Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain project schedules.
- Perform test execution Identify, document, and track defects and issues, provide detailed technical analysis of issue identified.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and Project Management, to ensure defect triaging and to ensure the defects are addressed before product launch.
- Mentor and guide System test team members by being Technical Leader. Sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Who you are and what you bring:
- Master鈥檚 or bachelor鈥檚 degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering, with over 8+ years of system validation experience involving the integration of multiple subsystems
- Desire and passion with global mindset to bring across change
- Proven experience working with cross functional and offshore teams
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of self-motivation and drive to make a significant impact, with a keen interest in hands-on lab work

- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, identify opportunities for process improvement implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness in system integration and testing.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience collaborating across various functional teams in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, power analysers, and the setup of complex systems for end-to-end validation
- Collaborated with field application engineers to translate real-world issues into use cases for system testing
- Test experience in one or more of the following technologies: Electrical, PLC, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Automotive, IoT, Solar, EVSE, Battery Storage Systems, Home Automation
- Proficiency in Linux OS, Git, and Jenkins
- Experience with test management tools such as Test Rails, JIRA and Jama
