Job Description
- Responsible for performing HPLC, SEC-MALS, UV-VIS and absorbance-based biochemical assays and applying these methods to a broad range of biotherapeutics for early and late-stage products and/or characterization of biologicals including; proteins, antibodies, peptides, and conjugates.
- Act as team leader and organize activities in the area assigned
- Train and lead others and efficiently prioritize and manage their time
- Coordinate training for employees within group and ensure records are up to date
- Assist in the hiring process and on-boarding of new employees
- Perform performance appraisals and coaching for direct reports
- Work as a liaison between clients, supervisors, and lab to report progress, needs, and delays
- Understand and report metrics monthly, quarterly, and yearly
- Identify risks to business and recommend process improvements
