The Sanitation associate will assist with the day-to-day operations within the Sanitation Department. Escalate any sanitation issues to the  Maintenance Tech.</li><li>Prepare and log donations for our donation partners.</li><li>Assist with logging and appropriately disposing of damaged items.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment, including proper storage of products and adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>Monitor and maintain sanitation inventory levels, partnering with the Maintenance Tech for reorders.</li><li>May use computers or tablets for record-keeping, communication, and training. </li><li>Support Operations with different duties as needed.</li></ul>Who you are:<ul><li>Authorized to work in the United States</li><li>Experience in a food distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse environment</li><li>Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).</li><li>Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices</li><li>Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.</li><li>Strong interpersonal communication</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel</li><li>Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds</li><li>Sedentary work; involves sitting some of the time</li><li>Standing desks and/or other ergonomic accommodation is available upon request</li><li>Occasional movement around the office may be necessary</li><li>Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens</li><li>Regular use of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets</li><li>Able to work in cold temperatures in a refrigerated environment</li></ul>Please see here for Misfits Market's <a href="https://www.misfitsmarket.com/careers-privacy">Job Applicant Privacy Notice</a>.
