Job Description

We are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) team for the

East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Project.

About the Project

The East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy facility is a state-of-the-art project that will process up to 300,000 tonnes of waste annually, generating 29 megawatts of renewable energy鈥攅nough to power approximately 36,000 homes. The project will significantly reduce landfill waste and contribute to Western Australia's sustainability goals. The facility will also cut carbon emissions by over 300,000 tonnes per year, equivalent to removing 65,000 cars from the roads.

The Role

As a Contracts Administrator, you will support the commercial team in managing subcontractor agreements, procurement processes, and contract administration to ensure risk mitigation and project efficiency. This role requires strong contract management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with negotiated terms.

  • Ensure all contract documentation is correctly stored and maintained according to company protocols.

  • Assist in managing subcontractor and supplier payments in line with contract terms and legal requirements.

  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with contract obligations and report any deviations.

  • Maintain a register of subcontract variations and assist with claims management.

  • Support the project team with procurement processes, cost tracking, and risk assessment.

  • Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Ensure contract administration aligns with project targets and commercial objectives.

  • Participate in pre-start meetings and provide guidance on contract terms and conditions.

  • Comply with ACCIONA鈥檚 Code of Conduct and promote safety, environmental, and industrial relations best practices.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Experience in Quantity Surveying is desirable.

  • Construction Induction Training (White Card) is required.

  • Current Driver鈥檚 License and reliable transport.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in contract administration within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
