The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services and a solid foundation in DevOps methodologies.Role Responsibilities<ul><li>Engineer and deploy highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS.</li><li>Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab</li><li>Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.</li><li>Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.</li><li>Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, security, and resilience.</li><li>Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure system resilience.</li><li>Collaborate with software development teams to integrate and deploy applications seamlessly.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.</li><li>Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).</li><li>Stay current with the latest AWS services, DevOps tools, and industry best practices.</li></ul>Experience / Competences<ul><li>Extensive experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM and EKS.</li><li>Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.</li><li>Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.</li><li>Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.</li><li>Platforms; Windows Server, Amazon Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu</li><li>Experience with container orchestration and management using Kubernetes and EKS.</li><li>Strong understanding of network architecture and network security best practices in AWS.</li><li>Good understanding of security best practices for AWS Services implementation.</li><li>Experience in designing and implementing resilient systems, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications/Skills:<ul><li>AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).</li><li>Experience with advanced monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.</li><li>Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).</li><li>Knowledge of Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (such as wiz.io, Prisma Cloud, etc)</li></ul>Job Band &amp; Level<ul><li>Manager / 6 or 7</li></ul>#LI-Hybrid   #LI-MIDNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
