About this Job:

The RF Systems Engineer Intern will play a critical role in contributing to the system-level design and development of our novel polar transmitter. You鈥檒l support system modeling, simulation, and lab characterization, working with RF measurement equipment and PCB bring-up. This role offers hands-on experience in RF circuit components, wireless communication theory, and digital signal processing, utilizing tools like Python and MATLAB for system modeling and data analysis.

As our RF Systems Engineer Intern, you will:

System-Level Design & Development

  • Contribute to the system-level design of Eridan鈥檚 novel polar transmitter.
  • Assist in modeling and simulation of wireless communication systems.

Lab Work & System Characterization

  • Support PCB bring-up and system characterization in a lab environment.
  • Work with RF measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

Signal Processing & Software Development

  • Develop system-level models utilizing digital signal processing techniques, including FIR filters, IIR filters, aliasing, interpolation and decimation filters, and FFTs.
  • Utilize Python and MATLAB for system modeling, data analysis, and algorithm development.

RF & Wireless Systems

  • Gain hands-on experience with RF circuit components such as power amplifiers, mixers, and transceiver architectures.
  • Explore concepts in wireless communication theory and system modeling.

Qualifications of a Successful Candidate:

  • Strong familiarity with Python and MATLAB.
  • Experience or coursework in digital signal processing.
  • Understanding of RF circuits and measurement techniques.
  • Interest in wireless systems, communication theory, and system modeling.
  • Experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers
