Contract Specialist

Budderfly, Inc. (Budderfly - www.budderfly.com) is seeking an experienced professional who will review signed contracts for content to ensure the business is complying with all requirements as outlined and work with legal to see customers sign addendums for standard customer changes like relocations or additional sites. This team member will play a critical role by maintaining a library of versions and creating processes to make reporting and compliance as smooth as possible.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement, and execute a process to leverage the contract storage library to capture & understand the necessary data elements from each contract.
  • Assign & manage the version identifiers to each contract and upload them into our contract storage database.
  • Set up and maintain billing terms and other key contract data elements in the company’s billing system.
  • Develop tools and processes to enhance the automated consumption of contract terms in our internal systems.
  • Collaborate with our development team to build business tools and processes that facilitate effective management and measurement of contract details.
  • Work with the legal department to make sure all contract requirements are met.
  • Input all necessary information to enroll new customers into the system.
  • Track and manage all contract details pertinent to business and costs related to contract detail elements for management and reporting.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of estimated to actual ARR values as customers transition from the sales cycle to steady state.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently with guidance from senior team members.
  • Ability to establish innovative business practices.
  • Exceptional time and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration across business teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related industry experience.
  • Proven ability to manage new processes and drive changes in an organization.
  • Prior experience in Contract Management is required.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing projects.

Salary Range: $62,000.00-68,000.00, per year

Job Location: Shelton, CT: Hybrid work schedule

Compensation
$62,000$68,000 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
