About the Role 

As a Senior Commercial Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the details and optimizing our sales processes, enhancing operational efficiency and driving the performance of our commercial team. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing Operations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support the achievement of strategic business goals. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Contribute to developing, maintaining, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Sales and Commercial Operations to monitor success and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Drive the design and implementation of streamlined commercial operations processes, ensuring global standardization and efficiency. 
  • Lead communication and training efforts for the commercial team on processes and systems, including onboarding improvements and knowledge retention and upskilling across teams. 
  • Standardize regional mediums within the commercial team to share best practices globally. 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in CRM and internal commercial systems, and evaluate potential new solutions to enhance operational efficiency. 
  • Manage sales funnels, measure activity and compliance, and monitor forecasting performance to support business goals. 
  • Facilitate the connection between regional commercial teams and global leadership by assisting with training, win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, and client segmentation. 
  • Implement sales strategies developed by global and regional commercial leadership to ensure alignment and execution. 
  • Assess pricing discipline and recommend product and service pricing guidelines to commercial leadership. 
  • Perform gap analyses and collaborate with regional commercial leadership to develop viable solutions for addressing challenges. 
  • Coordinate regular Sales Business Reviews with global and regional leadership to ensure alignment and progress tracking. 
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams on client segmentation, commercial reporting analysis, and lead generation attribution linked to marketing campaigns. 
  • Work with other Sales and Marketing Operations functions on initiatives to enhance sales performance, client services, and internal processes. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in commercial operations, sales enablement or client management. 
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering sales enablement programs. 
  • Experience in the energy industry is preferred but not required. 
  • Experience working internationally is advantageous. 
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and business intelligence tools. 
  • Ability to operate independently and efficiently, take initiatives and exercise sound business judgment to drive performance. 
  • Team player capable of managing multiple stakeholders with diverse opinions and commercial objectives. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Strong project management and multitasking capabilities. 
  • Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with all seniority levels.
