We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. (Note: this is not applicable for EpiSci roles).

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to help strategize and manage complex automotive engineering projects, identify gaps, and implement best practices for our customers. This position will involve intense collaboration with subject matter experts within Applied Intuition and at the customer on a technical level in order to implement solutions towards our customers’ series production goals.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Define program milestones, manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for projects relating to vehicle platforms and software-defined vehicles. Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure quality
  • Develop and execute release plans for software and hardware components, coordinating with engineering teams
  • Serve as a vital point of contact for our customers, understanding requirements and providing regular updates
  • Coordinate internal and external teams, facilitate communication, and align technical roadmaps
  • Ensure technical alignment between customer needs and solutions, supporting integration and validation
  • Drive problem-solving and decision-making across teams to resolve project issues

We're looking for someone who has:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical program management within the automotive industry
  • Ability to execute thoughtfully and efficiently, with a “no task is too big or too small” mindset to get the job done
  • Proven experience managing complex software and/or hardware projects, preferably related to software-defined vehicles or series production
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both English and German (B2+)
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Ability to travel as needed

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a can-do attitude.
  • An understanding of automotive development processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA
