We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks including bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, asset immobilization, month-end closing activities, payroll journal entries, and supporting audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bank Reconciliation:
• Reconcile bank statements to internal financial records.
• Identify discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve them.
2. Balance Sheet Reconciliation:
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled on a monthly basis.
• Identify and investigate any variances, providing timely explanations.
3. Immobilization (Fixed Asset Management):
• Assist in tracking and managing fixed assets.
• Ensure proper accounting for all asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
4. Month-End Closing:
• Support the month-end closing process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments as necessary.
5. Payroll Journal Entry:
• Prepare accurate payroll journal entries to record employee wages, deductions, and employer tax contributions.
• Ensure the payroll expense, liabilities (employee deductions and employer taxes), and cash payments are properly reflected in the general ledger.
6. Audit Support:
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with financial ERP systems.
• Knowledge of accounting standards.
