As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our international trade operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of global trade compliance, exceptional analytical skills, and attention to detail.Responsibilities will include:<ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Manage and maintain accurate records for import/export transactions, ensuring documents are complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Interpret and apply trade regulations to ensure compliance with customs, import/export, and trade laws.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Guide internal stakeholders regarding Redwood’s trade compliance policies and procedures.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Classify products according to the Harmonized Tariff System for proper customs clearance.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Evaluate opportunities to leverage preferential trade agreements and other trade facilitation programs, ensuring the proper usage of agreements and programs to optimize cost savings.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers to facilitate efficient and compliant international trade transactions.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Demonstrated experience in trade compliance, customs, or import/export operations.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Knowledge of trade laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Familiarity with enterprise global trade management software.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">Willing to travel between Redwood locations as needed.</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!</li></ul> <div>The position is full-time.
