Analysts are the backbone of the company and are responsible for our databases and reports, which are used by clients around the world. Interns will help to gather, analyze and present our research across the department.</p><p>As an intern in the analyst department, you will immediately take part in value-adding analysis. Under supervision of more experienced analysts, you will get responsibility for your own work streams. The work will include gathering, interpreting, and updating our market-leading databases as well as modelling and report writing. </p><p>We are seeking an independent, self-driven and well-organized individual with a good analytical mindset and communication skills.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Support Oil &amp; Gas analyst team to update Rystad Energy’s proprietary database</li> <li>Update maps using QGIS or ArcGIS</li> <li>Conduct secondary research to supplement existing data and information</li> <li>Additional tasks may be assigned by Team Manager</li> </ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul> <li>Native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English </li> <li>Undergraduate or post-graduate student pursuing degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field, preferably third-year undergraduate or second-year graduate student </li> <li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel and Access</li> <li>Proficient in using geological mapping software, such as QGIS or ArcGIS</li> <li>Candidates should be currently enrolled in a tertiary institution</li> </ul>
